Experimental Aircraft Engines and Cylinder Heads
Aircraft impose unique requirements upon the engine, not typically encountered on the road. For example, prop speed limits, harmonic vibration, fuel-air ratios, intake air temperature, density altitude, and matching torque curves to the flight envelope; all these can place demands upon what was originally an automotive design that the OEM engineers did not consider as being within nominal operating conditions.
It can affect most everything: Intake, intake manifold, heads, valves, compression, pistons, exhaust, fuel system, oil delivery, and more.
DPR works with experimental aircraft owners and pilots to tailor your engine to your specifications.
